**Job Description:**

Manages/oversees the analytical, team, & client responsibilities across a targeted group of Analytical resources consisting of Senior Analysts, Team Leads, and Analysts; serving one or more senior executives with functional responsibility across Wealth and Consumer channels, products, marketing Ensures appropriate focus and alignment of staff and resources Identifies opportunities for collaboration across the Analytics organization to effectively deliver against priorities. Supervises, directs, and communicates complex analyses using a variety of tools, techniques and resources to deliver insights that drive business direction and decision making. Partners with P&L owners and senior executives to identify, analyze, and propose solutions to a variety of business problems using data driven insights. Develops employees within the analytical discipline to be able to communicate and improve their business insight capabilities.

Experience in supervising/leading technical or complex projects and managing to an outcome(directly or indirectly). Proven track record in financial services, consumer products, or marketing business / analytics. Knowledge of current data techniques, and tools. Bachelors Degree. Demonstrated understanding of statistical data uses in business decisions.

The Consumer AML Front Line Unit (FLU) business control function sits within the Retail Client Protection organization and is responsible for end-to-end controls related to compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act. Client Protection works directly with the Second and Third Line Units as part of an integrated approach to financial crimes compliance. This positioning ensures that our analysts are exposed to a broad range of financial crimes business problems, including AML, Sanctions, and Fraud.

The Client Quantitative Analytics Manager contributes to the strategic direction and drives the development of Consumer AML's Advanced Analytics Team. The Client Quantitative Analytics Manger serves as a trusted advisor to the Consumer AML Leadership team directly.

This role will:

Improve Consumer's compliance position in an evolving regulatory environment, while collaborating with partners across the enterprise to identify opportunities to apply more consistent risk management across lines of business.

Responsibilities:

- Contribute to cross-FLU remediation, manage and execute functional requirements, ensure adherence to internal/external regulations, and monitor program efficiency.

- Provide leadership direction, attracting, assessing, developing, motivating broader work team, as well as ensuring a positive team culture.

- Lead the strategic process of empowering an organization to harness the full potential of its analytics assets.

- Create an environment where advanced analytics capabilities are readily accessible, well-managed, and used effectively to drive decision-making and innovation.

- Be a proven leader of leaders.

- Have deep and diverse experience in highly visible regulatory environments, including strong knowledge of Model Risk Management techniques.

**Required Qualifications:**

+ 10+ years financial services industry and/or analytics experience

+ Expert knowledge of common data engineering techniques, including use of SQL in large relational databases

+ Advanced knowledge of statistical and data mining methods, and fluency in relevant software or programming languages (e.g., SAS, Python)

+ Ability to use highly technical/analytics skillset to influence business direction and strategy

+ Demonstrated followership and mobilization of indirect resources/stakeholders to deliver sustainable results

+ Demonstrated attention to detail with the ability to think broadly and connect activities to strategy

+ Highly organized with the ability to prioritize competing demands, managing multiple priorities and executing goals with less than complete data

+ Strong combination of strategic and tactical planning acumen

+ Strategic thinker comfortable with the senior management level

+ Proven presentation skills: ability to present key messages, recommendations and information in a clear, concise and insightful way and synthesize information key to relevant points

+ Ability to cultivate a positive team culture, and ensure broader collaboration across the enterprise
