Title: Client Relationship Manager
Job summary
The Client Relationship Manager is responsible for the coordination and overall management of client account documentation and maintenance. As the client relationship manager, this person collaborates with the advisors to prepare client reports and maintains contact with clients to provide or obtain updated information. This role requires relationship building expertise and strong attention to detail.
Client Relationship Manager Duties:
· Provide first line of client contact and serve as a liaison between advisors and clients
· Assist clients with inquiries/requests or re-direct, as appropriate
· Build relationships with assigned clients as servicing representative
· Complete proactive service calls for all assigned clients annually
· New client onboarding including
· Prepare account paperwork for opening new accounts and/or annuities, terminated accounts and/or account transfers
· Facilitate completion of all client applications and transfer documents
· Ensure client paperwork and signatures are in good order
· Oversee the asset transfer process: establish rapport with custodial contacts to ensure timely and accurate completion of requests
· Handle client-initiated changes and transactions
· Review, update, and maintain beneficiary forms
· Receive and process on-demand distributions from accounts
· Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) processing
· Updating account maintenance options
· Journaling of assets between accounts using LPL's Move Money tool
· Move money requests
· Process Required Minimum Distributions
· Address and other demographic information changes
· Process incoming checks and screen incoming account paperwork for accuracy
· Maintain CRM system. Enter notes in CRM database daily. Work to ensure data integrity in all databases
· Coordinate and document client review process including meeting preparation, attendance, note-taking, and follow up on meeting action items.
· Attend prospect meetings, take notes and send follow-up letters
· Complete process from prospect to client onboarding
· Special projects as assigned
Minimum requirements
· Minimum of 3-5 years proven success in an administrative support function preferable in an investment environment
· Associates degree or higher
· Financial Services industry experience preferred
· Series 7 and Series 66 are required. (or completion and passing of SIE, Series 7 Exam, Series 66 exam within 6 months of employment)
· Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and CRM software
· Client-first attitude, self-starter, energetic, assertive
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Excellent interpersonal and listening skills
· Team player, able to work well with all levels of the firm, as well as with clients
· Ability to work independently and establish priorities
· Ability to handle multiple requests simultaneously and respond quickly

· Excellent follow-through and communication to team members regarding status of open items
· Actively seeks better ways of doing things; proactively grows skills and knowledge
