We ensure that top performers are recognized and have built a competitive environment to motivate and unify the team.What you'll doAs a Client Sales Executive at Brex, your key mission is to drive net new revenue by spearheading strategic initiatives within our customer base. With a primary focus on managing and optimizing a portfolio of over 200 customer accounts, your role is crucial in identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and successful renewals. Beyond the traditional scope of increasing credit card spend, your efforts will be pivotal in fostering business expansion through a diverse range of software offerings, including Expense, Travel, and Billpay solutions. Your expertise in client relationship management will be instrumental in ensuring the sustained satisfaction, financial success, and growth of our clients, ultimately contributing to the continued success of Brex in the competitive market.ResponsibilitiesSpearhead initiatives to propel net-new revenue growth by strategically elevating spending levels on the Brex Card among our current client baseProactively identify and cultivate new business opportunities through targeted and strategic outreach effortsChampion the cross-selling of our cutting-edge Spend Management software, encompassing Expense Management, Billpay, and Travel solutions, to diversify and enhance our clients' financial operationsEngage with CFOs and finance leaders regularly, serving as a trusted advisor to provide expert consultation on optimizing financial operations through the seamless integration of our innovative solutionsFormulate and execute strategic plans geared towards enhancing the overall client experience, encompassing improvements in product features and implementation processesRequirements4+ years of hands-on experience in sales roles within B2B SaaS OR Payments companiesProficient in creating and executing strategic outreach plans, particularly in pipeline generationDemonstrates a proactive and results-driven mindset, with a dedicated focus on achieving and surpassing revenue targetsProven track record of consistently surpassing revenue targets and quotasRecognized for sustained high performance, consistently ranking in the top 10% of stack rankingsExceptional communication and presentation skills, demonstrated in both written and verbal formsMust be willing to work in office 2 days per week on Wednesday and ThursdayBonus pointsExpertise in credit card management, encompassing a deep understanding of limits, rewards, and underwritingFamiliarity with software solutions, especially in areas such as Expense Management, Travel, and BillpayPrevious experience in implementing successful upselling and cross-selling strategiesKeen awareness of the competitive landscape, industry trends, and market dynamicsA background in handling renewals, ensuring customer retention, and minimizing churnCompensationThe expected OTE range for this role is $165,432 - $206,790 USD. The starting wage will depend on a number of factors including the candidate's location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity. The OTE figure listed here includes base salary and commissions, which may or may not be earned depending on performance.
