Job Description:
Summary: The Client Services Assistant will provide comprehensive operational support to a seasoned Wealth Advisor Team at Neuberger Berman Private Wealth. Additionally, the candidate will serve in a rotational role within the department, assisting various Portfolio Management or Wealth Advisor Teams as needed. This position provides broad exposure to Neuberger Berman's Private Wealth business and offers a unique opportunity to obtain direct exposure to seasoned investment teams. Responsibilities: Client Servicing
  • Participate in daily activities of operational support team and facilitate all client service needs.
  • Act as a liaison between Wealth Advisors, Portfolio Managers, and operations.
  • Initiate new account opening process through Centralized Business Services Team.
  • Perform account maintenance including but not limited to; funds disbursements, name/address changes, year-end charitable gifting, ACATS and DTC transfers, cost updates, billing/fees, client directed trade orders, etc.
  • Monitor account activity including trades, cash flow, debits, margin, tech shorts, performance, transfers, allocations, fees etc. by utilizing various in-house portfolio systems.
Client Reporting
  • Assist generating customized quarterly reports and analysis, in accordance with established industry and firm standards and requirements.
  • Collaborate with Reporting and Technology teams to resolve reporting issues as they are identified.
  • Aggregate Private Equity Capital Call and Distribution notices and confirm internal systems accurately reflect Private Equity activity.
  • Support client requests for statements and tax documents including 1099's and K1's.
Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree.
  • Series 7 and 66 licenses required, or ability to obtain within the first 6 months of employment.
  • 1-3 years of client service/support or related experience (Internship) in the financial services industry preferred.
  • Excel proficiency required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal and client servicing skills.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and keep team apprised on open items.
  • Detail oriented and organized with strong follow-up skills.
  • Flexible mindset in support of the rotational nature of the role.
  • Team player and a desire to collaborate with others.
Compensation Details The salary range for this role is $60,000-$90,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
