Just like many other people, finance is not often their area of expertise. Overtime, the passion to serve teachers spilled over into other areas. Preparing for retirement, managing investments, saving for college, and simply receiving sound advice in response to financial questions was something our community needed. In 1996, the company shifted focus, officially becoming rebranded as Compass Capital Management. The Client Service Associate reports to the Director of Operations and is critical in appropriately leveraging Advisors' time. This is a role that works independently with wide latitude for independent judgment. This position utilizes excellent customer service and problem-solving skills to confidently provide information and education to clients in a timely, efficient, and professional manner. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Open new accounts
  • Schedule appointments
  • Heavy customer service contact
  • Handles SRA's
  • Handles Money transfers
  • Handles Omni remitting of checks
  • Client reach out/contact
  • Set up monthly, semi-monthly, quarterly, & annual meetings
  • Assisting in answering questions, for new or existing clients
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR ABILITIES: To perform this job successfully, individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:
  • Advanced computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) are essential
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong time management and organizational skills; able to work and effectively manage multiple tasks at once
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and internal partners and influence others without direct control
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in the financial services industry allowing a strong understanding of broker/dealer operations and financial services products
  • Previous experience in the independent financial services industry required
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
  • Series 7 License preferred
