Job Description:
Independent fee-only investment advisory firm seeks CSA to support Advisory and Client Services teams, focusing on team engagement/client success, with the full scope of the role including day-to-day operations, communications, investment management, compliance, and technology.Responsibilities:Answer calls, manage contacts/schedules/expenses; produce reports and create presentation materials; maintain/retain office files consistent with firm policies/requirements; administrative tasks/projects as neededSend paperwork to clients using electronic signature system adhering to custodian compliance rules; quality check and submit custodial items for processingSupport Compliance in maintaining effective/robust investment advisory compliance program; conduct compliance program tests; perform other compliance related tasks/projects as neededWeekly prep to ensure Advisory and Client Services teams are ready for upcoming client meetingsSupport client onboarding in eMoney and Orion; support preparation/production of complex client requests (gain/loss calculations); lead initiatives/projects in support of Advisory teams; gather/prepare information for advisory meetings with clientsSupport marketing and client events as requested including newsletters, blogs, social, website, communications, office events, etc.Requirements:Bachelor's degree; 0-4 years in financial services client services and/or operationsExperience with financial planning applications (eMoney, Orion, or similar) and custodial platforms (Fidelity, Pershing, or similar) preferredWilling to obtain Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional (FPQP) certification; knowledge of RIA operations/regulations/compliance/oversight preferred; leadership experience demonstrated through reporting structure/special projectsExcellent verbal/written communication skills; personal integrity/honesty/ability to handle confidential information daily; ability to handle stress in ever-changing investment market; excellent time management/organizational skills; ability to prioritize multiple tasks and anticipate potential problems; proactive; able to work independently; exhibit high standards/good judgment
