The Client Service team at Lazard Asset Management is a client-facing group within our Operations organization, responsible for managing client interactions related to operations, compliance, and reporting. We are seeking a proactive associate to join this team, someone who is deeply invested in fostering strong client relationships and enhancing the client experience. As a member of our team, you will collaborate with sales, operations, and compliance departments to elevate Lazard's client service experience, ensuring exceptional ongoing support for our intermediary and institutional clients.

We'll trust you to:

* Provide comprehensive client service support for LAM's intermediary and institutional clients.

* Liaise between clients, LAM's sales teams, and infrastructure areas like operations, trading, technology, legal, compliance, and finance.

* Collaborate across teams to onboard new business and provide ongoing client support.

* Respond promptly to client inquiries and resolve issues professionally.

* Maintain accurate client data and internal systems for compliance, fee calculations, reporting, and disclosures.

* Prepare scheduled and ad hoc reports and complete due diligence questionnaires.

* Utilize investment knowledge to manage account-related matters and identify service enhancement opportunities.

* Lead initiatives to improve processes and the client service model.

* Ensure continuous collaboration with team members and internal stakeholders.

* Conduct competitive analysis to identify threats and opportunities.

* Coordinate client meetings and participate in special projects as needed.

You'll need to have:

* A Bachelor's or advanced degree, plus 1 to 3 years of experience in client service or operations within asset management.

* Familiarity with process management and CRM tools such as Appian and Salesforce.

* Keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple projects.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with partners, clients, and financial advisors.

* A client-focused, service-oriented mindset with a commitment to continual learning.

* A teamwork mentality, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.

* Adaptability to work in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment with varying priorities and deadlines.

* Proficiency in using technology, including a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $65,000 - 75,000 USD. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant's years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role. Base salary is one component of Lazard Asset Management's compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
