The Client Service Associate supports Registered Representatives in delivering high-quality service to clients within the brokerage/financial services industry. This role involves frequent client interaction, handling account maintenance, and managing administrative tasks to enhance client experience and support the business's operational functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate regularly with clients regarding stock quotes, trade scenarios, and other account-related matters.
- Maintain and update customer account information, including handling written correspondence and record management.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to Registered Representatives, including managing schedules, coordinating travel arrangements, and preparing client presentations.
- Utilize back-office systems, such as FIS, to input trade and account information accurately and efficiently.
- Resolve client service issues, documenting and tracking resolutions in a Problem/Solution Log to keep Registered Representatives informed of service status and client satisfaction levels.
- Serve as a primary point of contact during market hours, managing communication flow to and from the Registered Representative.
- Assist with special projects and other tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years in the brokerage or financial services industry, ideally in a Registered Client Service Associate role.
- Active Series 7 and 63/66 licenses required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiar with portfolio software; experience with FIS back-office systems is advantageous.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain products and services effectively to clients.
- Basic understanding of branch operations, compliance, and industry regulations.
