Job Description:
Montville Veterinary Group is a busy small animal hospital that is looking for the right person to join our team. We are looking for an individual who has a friendly personality and enjoys interacting with people. Experience in the veterinary field is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right person but please don't apply if you are looking to work directly with the animals. Responsibilities include:
  • Maintain a professional, cheerful and helpful attitude when interacting with clients.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls using proper telephone etiquette.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments.
  • Accurately process payments and able to review invoices with clients.
  • Assist with keeping the hospital clean and clear of odors.
  • Take complete phone messages and prescription requests.
  • Filing charts and assist with maintaining complete medical records.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Great attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Positive attitude and team player.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-pace environment.
  • Skilled using a computer and comfortable learning new tasks.
  • Position does include some weekend shifts.

  • The base hourly range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00. Our pay ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
