Stanley Consultants is seeking a Client Service Manager for our Minneapolis office. Stanley Consultants is actively working in the Water Resources Market in Minneapolis and throughout the Midwest. This growing geographic emphasis needs additional leadership to maintain our current market presence while assisting our existing team to build Stanley's water resources market presence. In doing so, this position will seek water resources projects in the State of Minnesota and other Midwest states. This individual will be responsible for the development and management of all aspects of business development associated with water resources including but not limited to urban and site stormwater management systems, decommissioned impoundment removals, stream restoration, and surface water conveyance project planning, design, and services during construction.

The successful candidate will have a Minnesota and/or Midwest network of water resources connections and regional expertise in one or more of the following:

* Stormwater infrastructure

* Conveyance including pump stations, channel improvements, culverts

* Stormwater infrastructure improvements including green infrastructure, stormwater detention, storm sewers and sewer separation

* Stream restoration, bank stabilization, constructed wetlands and detention

What You Will Be Doing:

* Initiates, develops, and maintains close client relationships with Minnesota and Midwest clients

* Manages the preparation of proposals, presentations, contract procedures, client invoicing, and collections

* Actively participates in Water Resources initiatives such as the Minnesota Water Resources Conference and the newly formed Watershed Conference, and professional organizations at the local, regional, and national levels

* Develops creative and innovative approaches to project development

* Provides leadership during project execution

* Leads our efforts in Client Satisfaction

* Assists in developing strategic plans for assigned clients including identification of client, project opportunities and pursuits

* Maintains marketing database and prepares routine reports on sales efforts

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelors of Science degree

* Requires 10+ years of relevant experience in consulting engineering

* Proven track record of successful project and client development

* Current active participation in Minnesota and Midwest water resources communities

* Must possess knowledge of water resources including stormwater infrastructure, conveyance and flood control, bank stabilization and stream restoration, site drainage, and stormwater treatment BMPs

* Must possess a working knowledge of funding sources for water resources projects

Stanley's Approach to Flexibility

While some members choose to work out of their local office on a full-time basis, we offer a hybrid schedule for eligible positions consisting of two days a week in the office, two days a week remotely, and Friday being a flexible day that can be worked either in the office or at home. Eligible roles can also offer a compressed workweek schedule. Members who participate will be assigned a 9/80 work schedule, meaning every other Friday off!
