As a Client Service Representative you will partner with assigned Benefits Consultants and Account Executives to deliver exceptional client experience for their assigned book of clients. This purpose is achieved by following the Alera Group Way fundamentals, using Alera Group technology systems, and by developing relationships with internal and external clients and business associates.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and resolve client issues related to claims, billing, and eligibility.
  • Partner with Account Manager(s) to complete Alera Group service model for clients. This includes:
    • Requesting/Downloading renewals and saving in Brokerage Builder.
    • Coordinating marketing of benefits with medical and ancillary carriers.
    • Updating client and plan information in Brokerage Builder, including gathering policies, billing statements, etc. from carriers for the files.
    • Coordinating completion of compliance documents such as plan documents, Section 125 documents, etc.
  • Document all activities in Brokerage Builder.
  • Other duties, as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Pennsylvania Life, Accident, and Health insurance license required (if not already licensed, employee will be required to become licensed within 90 days of employment).
  • 2-3 years of related industry experience.
  • Computer Skills: Strong understanding of Microsoft Office products; experience with Zywave a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to successfully interact at all company levels while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
