If you're ready for a career that allows you to make a real difference in the lives of others and reap the rewards that come with it, you are made for this!Our Client Service Representatives enjoy some excellent benefits: $20.00 - $22.00 / HourMake a positive impact in the lives of others through the work you doFamily-oriented culture that promotes work-life balanceOnline training, growth and ability to earn CEUsPTO, Holiday Pay, Medical/Dental/Vision & 401(k) Benefits As a Client Service Representative, here's a big-picture view of what you'll do: Assists the DHCS (or designee) in establishing and monitoring compliance with quality and operations standards.Exceptional customer service skills to communicate with patients, referral sources, physician office personnel and co-workers in a professional manner.Answers phone lines and transfers calls to appropriate team members.Acts as a telephone liaison person interfacing with referral sources, outside agencies, health professionals and field staff.Receives and coordinates all incoming calls, providing patients/clients and referral sources with basic information to assist in accessing appropriate services.Communicates with patient/client and family regarding arrangements for the initiation of of care/services.Actively promotes care/services to prospective patients/clients.Completes intake screening including obtaining, documenting and analyzing all required information to make a preliminary admission decision.Prepares admission packets for patients.Ensures proper documentation is available for staff.Performs data entry, retrieval, searches; compiles and tabulates data into meaningful reports.Opens and routes mail to appropriate recipients.Creates folders for patients, files and maintains medical documentations.Assists with marketing and payroll functions, as needed.Orders office supplies and necessary paperwork for patients services.Ensures allassigned office functions are completed in compliance with federal, state, local laws and regulations as well as all policies, procedures and standards of Interim Healthcare.Promotes agency through education to prospective and existing patients.Provides input to management on improving processes and procedures, developing recognition and reward programs, and becoming more cost and time efficient.Completes other assignments as requested and assigned.May have access to personal health information ( PHI ) necessary to fulfill the above duties and responsibilities. Access to use and ability to disclose PHI is further defined by each organization/department. A few must-haves for Client Service Representatives: Associate degree, Medical Office Administration Certificate or equivalentMinimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare or a related industryUnderstanding of state and federal home care standards and regulationsExcellent oral and written communication skills with clinical and non-clinical staffStrong organizational skills, attention to detail and computer software proficiencyAbility to multi-task, work under pressure with changing priorities and short deadlines and effectively handle a heavy workloadSkill to prepare and maintain accurate patient records, files and reportsKnowledge of business terminology, accurate spelling, punctuation and grammar.
