Customer Service Specialist - Contract - Weehawken, NJ / Nashville, TN - $15.00 - 19.00/hr.The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's/applicant's qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship not available.Our client is seeking a Customer Service Specialist in Weehawken, NJ / Nashville, TN.Role DescriptionInteract with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints.Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:•Respond to inquiries from branches/clients regarding the account opening and maintenance process, including client verification and forms approval in a timely and efficient manner.•Learn basic Legal and Compliance knowledge around the account process.•Proactively track service issues and escalate them to product areas for resolution.•Occasional weekend work may be required from time to timeSkills & RequirementsEducation/Experience•Bachelor's degree preferred•Customer service required. Experience in the Financial Services or Brokerage industry - preferredSkills and Competencies•Proficient in basic mathematical skills•Strong Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service skills and interpersonal skills; strong verbal communications skills using the phone•Ability to sustain long-term relationships with internal and external clients•Ability to work independently and manage one's time•Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information•Previous experience with computer applications, such as MS Outlook or data entry software (Typically required)Benefits/Other CompensationThis position is a contract/temporary role where Hays offers you the opportunity to enroll in full medical benefits, dental benefits, vision benefits, 401K and Life Insurance ($20,000 benefit).Why Hays?You will be working with a professional recruiter who has intimate knowledge of the industry and market trends.
