Client Service Associate

JK Executive Strategies is proud to partner with a best in class registered investment advisory firm in search of a Client Service Associate to join its team! The Client Service Associate will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to clients by supporting the operational, administrative, and trading activities of the firm. This individual will collaborate closely with Financial Advisors and the broader service team to ensure client accounts are maintained efficiently and client needs are met with professionalism and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
Service Management:
- Execute one-off trade requests, including block trades and corrections.
- Perform account rebalancing and process deposits, distributions, or cash-raising requests at the direction of the Financial Advisor.
- Facilitate client onboarding, cashiering, and model updates on platforms like 55i and Advyzon.
Monitoring Incoming Funds for Investing:
- Track and manage funds from various sources, including Transfers of Assets (TOA), check deposits, and journal transfers.
Paperwork Processing and Follow-Up:
- Prepare, process, and monitor new and existing account paperwork.
- Ensure timely delivery of forms to clients with clear instructions and follow up if not returned within 10 business days.
- Assist clients to ensure completion and resolution of required forms.
Client Scheduling and Communications:
- Schedule client appointments as requested by Advisors or clients.
- Prepare and send out client mailings in a timely and professional manner.
Phone Support:
- Serve as the first point of contact for client calls, addressing inquiries or escalating concerns to Senior Advisors as needed.
- Schedule unresolved issues on the Senior Financial Advisor's calendar.
Meeting Preparation:
- Review client files ahead of appointments to identify necessary forms or updates.
- Provide meeting documents to the Senior Financial Advisor in advance.
Advisor Follow-Up:
- Keep Senior Financial Advisors informed of any delays or issues related to client tasks or documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in client service, financial services, or operations support, ideally within an RIA or wealth management firm.
- Strong understanding of investment account processes, trading, and client account management.
- Excellent organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., 55i, Advyzon) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiar with Fidelity's WealthScape Platform.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and collaborate with a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional demeanor with a client-first mindset.
- Adaptable and proactive in addressing client and team needs.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Salary Range
60-70k
