Job Description
The Client Services Representative is an industry professional who understands the value of results-driven customer service. Position is responsible for all client communication, performing complex problem-solving using Excel analytics and maintaining a portfolio of clients by providing exceptional customer service.
About AMS Billing
AMS utility billing provides convergent billing, submetering, invoice processing, payments, regulatory compliance, analytics, and more to give our customers the most complete platform available for billing. Our billing services are built and optimized with property managers in mind.
What You'll Do
* Master use of all existing billing and payment systems.
* Understand all current accounts and maintain a trusting relationship with all primary portfolio contacts.
* Process utility billing at a high capacity (RUBs, Sub-metering, count factors, utility statements, billing process, etc.).
* Analyze/audit problem accounts to correct billing issues and increase Accounts Receivables for portfolios.
* Communicate with the sales, accounting and management departments of the business.
* Notify sales and management of any billing irregularities or suspected leaks (missing utility bills or reads, uncharacteristically high/low bills or usage) .
* Monitor company email and other communication systems to ensure fast and accurate responses to clients.
* Complete monthly financial reporting, internal audits and reports to senior management.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For
* Computer skills / Office Software experience
* Experience in utility/multifamily billing a plus
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to deliver superior customer service
* Basic accounting skills a plus
* Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
* Minimum typing speed of 40wpm (words per minute)
* Spanish speaking a plus
Education Requirements
* Associate Degree in Marketing Communications or related field preferred
