Potter Road, Suite D, Wauwatosa, WI 53226 Position SummaryThe CSS informs the client and the representing attorney of the available sentencing options and treatment services. This position will focus on finding treatment solutions for clients, including assessing and evaluating clients for community-based options. Salary InformationThe starting salary for this position will be between $23.00 and $32.68 per hour. Pay on appointment for current or former state employees may vary based on the applicable provisions in the State Compensation Plan. This position is in the Pay Schedule/Range (12-64). Salary will depend on experience and qualifications and will be based on rules that apply in the current compensation plan. A one-year probationary period will be require d. Permanent classified state employees who are eligible for consideration (transfer, voluntary demotion, or reinstatement) for a position assigned to the stated pay range or counter-part pay range, should complete the application process as described above by the stated deadline. Final selected candidates may be eligible for moving expense reimbursement to relocate to the place of employment. Job Details Background Check : We consider all qualified applicants with criminal histories, consistent with applicable federal, state and local law. A criminal background check will be done prior to an offer of employment. License Requirement: A valid driver's license and the ability/authorization to drive a state vehicle is required as a condition of employment. Travel to other counties in WI may be required. Ability to Testify: Must possess ability to testify in an effective manner in court procedures. Testifying in an effective manner requires candidates and employees have no criminal convictions that may allow impeachment of testimony.
