Position Overview:Supporting assigned practices on all aspects of the revenue cycle specifically focused on front end processes and training but will include resolving payer, provider system set up issues. This is a hybrid position, will need to be flexible to go to onsite practice locations throughout
Bergen, Hudson, Passaic, Essex, and Morris counties.Essential Functions:- Train and assist new employee/practices with Athena go live for collector and other revenue cycle applications. Coordinates web-based learning and scheduling of 1:1 or group training as required.
- Maintain responsibility for general and complex administrative support functions to the client as specified by the Account Manager and Director.
- Works with confidential data and electronic records and enters data in complex data systems.
- Front desk workflow, which includes check-ins and outs, collecting copays and the intake process.
- Conducts training of practice staff on the athena system. best practice, conducting root cause analysis, routine reporting and reviews with staff, providers, and practice management.
- Other assigned tasks/duties as specified by the Account Manager.
Skills & experience:- Athena experience required**
- Excellent communications skills. Will be working with practice staff and providers onsite.
- Experience in full revenue cycle processes and tasks.
- Excellent systems experience and acuity. (EMR and Billing and Collection Systems). Multi-system and multi-specialty experience.
- Must have a reliable vehicle and the ability to travel to different locations as needed.
- The candidate must have a minimum of 4+ years in a physician billing environment.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
Work environment:- A standard business environment exists with moderate noise levels.
- Ability to lift and move approximately thirty (30) pounds on a non-routine basis.
