Job Type Full-timeDescriptionTrico is seeking a Client Solutions Advisor who will serve as both a oil analysis program expert and a strategic partner to our customers. In this role, you will provide insightful analysis of customer oil analysis (OA) test results while identifying opportunities for further engagement and growth. The ideal candidate thrives in a dual-function role, balancing technical expertise with consultative sales.You will support our clients by interpreting OA data, providing actionable recommendations, and offering advanced solutions to enhance equipment reliability. Through ongoing conversations with customers, you will also uncover opportunities for our BD team to cross sell related products or services.This is a pivotal role that directly contributes to Trico's vision of integrating data and analytics to solve tomorrow's problems. Specific responsibilities include:
  • Customer Education Support customers in understanding their OA test results. Provide actionable insights and recommendations for improving equipment reliability.
  • Customer Engagement Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by offering expert guidance on their OA programs and responding to their technical questions and challenges.
  • Customer Software Training and Support Train customers on how to use Trico's proprietary data tools, empowering them to independently analyze their OA test results and make informed decisions to enhance equipment reliability.
  • Sales Opportunity Identification Through regular customer interactions, identify potential opportunities for upselling additional OA services or recommending related product solutions. Uncover customer needs and insights in a way that feels organic and collaborative, fostering trust and openness rather than a sales pitch.
  • Collaborative Problem-Solving Work closely with internal teams, including chemistry, product application, and engineering experts, to deliver tailored solutions that address specific customer needs.
  • CRM Documentation Record all customer interactions, recommendations, and potential sales opportunities in the CRM system to ensure a complete customer history.
RequirementsProven Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience working in the industrial sector in sales, support, or a related field (experience with oil analysis or lubrication solutions is a plus).
Education
  • A bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field (preferred, but not a barrier for candidates with relevant experience)
Technical Skills
  • Experience tracking customer interactions using a CRM or ERP system.
  • Demonstrated experience using software to view, display, and analyze data. Software may include Power BI, Excel, Tableau, or others.
Eager Learner
  • Ability and willingness to obtain the knowledge necessary to serve as an expert in Oil Analysis.
Communication Skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally and effectively with customers and co-workers.
  • Capable of explaining complex technical concepts in simple terms to both technical and non-technical customers.
  • Demonstrate strong active listening and inquiry skills.
Autonomy & Collaboration
  • Must demonstrate self-motivation and adaptability, with the ability to thrive in an independent, dynamic environment with a focus on delivering results without constant supervision.
