Associates are the engine behind GLG's Insight Network - the world's largest and most varied source of first-hand expertise. The Associate role is fast paced and communication intensive. Associates help drive GLG's business forward and add value through close coordination with team members to fulfill their clients' needs. As an Associate, you will learn to quickly understand client project requests; how to identify and recruit new Network Members (experts); the process for securing and confirming critical client calls and meetings; and how to help create a seamless client experience. We'll ensure you are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to succeed with our best-in-class training programs. In addition to a robust onboarding program, you will benefit from regular coaching and constructive feedback, which helps GLG foster a culture of continuous improvement, employee development, and high performance. Once you're fully up to speed and performing against your targets, you will be promoted to a Senior Associate. In that new role, you'll be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, client relationship-building, and engaging with our experts. Key Associate Responsibilities Include: •Supporting team members on client projects and Network Member engagement. •Recruiting new experts to join GLG's network through targeted lead generation and timely outreach by phone, email, and other methods. •Collaborating closely with team members to expand projects and rescope recruiting populations (as needed) to drive successful client outcomes. •Building your understanding of client strategies, various industry sectors, and value chains to identify and vet the best experts for client projects. •Scheduling and confirming critical calls and meetings between GLG's clients and Network Members, including scheduling all calls with any new recruits you've made. •Proactively engaging with GLG experts to understand their expertise and gauge their fit for client projects. •Learning and upholding our compliance policies and procedures to protect the integrity of client engagements. As an Associate, You Will Learn To: •Excel in a phone-based and highly challenging environment that demands attention to detail, prioritization of various workflows, and execution on multiple projects at the same time. •Develop strong, transferable business skills - including in client service excellence, communication, time management, negotiating, problem solving, project management, and the ability to achieve commercial targets. •Collaborate with colleagues on and across both regional and global teams to contribute to revenue and broader commercial success. •Mentor future GLG Associates as you become tenured and proficient in your role. Ideal Candidates Have: •Bachelor's degree, preferably in a health or science related field. •Confident and strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal skills, and motivation to work on the phone daily with Network Members and potential recruits. •Desire to work in a collaborative, team environment that is fast paced, where we strive to provide an excellent experience for experts and clients. •Ability to work responsibly and manage multiple, simultaneous tasks - prioritizing effectively as priorities can shift quickly. •High motivation to exceed personal weekly, monthly, and quarterly commercial targets. •Strong problem-solving skills and hustle attitude. •Ability to quickly digest and implement feedback and coaching. Eagerness to learn about new topics, industries, and companies. •Willingness to work flexible and extended hours (including evenings and bank holidays) outside of the traditional workday (8:30AM-6PM), as needed based on client requests. What We Offer: The base salary for this role is $50,000. This role is eligible for an uncapped performance-based incentive compensation. This role is also eligible to earn overtime.
