It's the people, the culture we foster and the opportunity to learn and to grow.Job SummaryThe Client Solutions Manager's primary goal is to play an integral role in the design and execution of various external facing projects with new clients as well as already established clients. This role will work closely with various business and technical teams to ensure that business requirements are accurately captured and delivered to the technical team in a timely manner. The position requires a high level of both internal and external communication and organizational skills. The position exercises discretion and maintains confidentiality in the execution of duties and responsibilities.Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manages project schedules and executes toward corporate goals; manages projects for risk and change.
  • Reports on project status, documents and communicates with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provides detailed requirements and workflows that allow the end business user(s) to confidently sign-off on a project prior to the start of development.
  • Translates business/data requirements into functional specifications for both the development team and the QA team.
  • Responsible for maintenance of issue logs, meeting notes and other activities as needed.
  • Adheres to MedRisk's standard set of practices and policies to ensure the integrity and quality of deliverables.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Strictly adheres to all aspects MedRisk Confidentiality, Privacy and Security Standards Policies and Confidentiality Operating Procedures in performing work. Does not use or discuss MedRisk's or customers', providers', trading partners' or vendors' commercially sensitive or privacy-related information, including PHI (personal health information) with anyone inside or outside of MedRisk except as needed to perform an assigned task.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent years of experience.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of formal project management experience required.
  • Experience with MS Project or a similar project management tool required.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook required.
  • Prior experience in resources management and tracking required.
  • Ability to lead effective meetings to support planning and project completion required.
  • Strong analytical, documentation and communication skills required.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment required.
  • Managed care experience and knowledge of health information and health care services preferred.
  • Document library management experience preferred.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
  • The work environment characteristics described here is representative of those of a standard office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to remain in a stationary position over 50% of the work day; move about inside the office to access files or office equipment; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls to operate a computer and other office productivity machines; reach with hands and arms; must communicate and converse with co-workers; and detect/discern information accurately. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
