ABOUT THE ROLE
Responsible for support of Westwood's Institutional Sales & Client Service development efforts, promoting and communicating Westwood's capabilities, products and services and thought leadership to global Investment Consulting firms, Clients, and Plan Sponsors. This role is responsible for relationship support with potential prospects, consulting firms and clients, serving as primary point of contact for consultant and client inquiries. This role is in charge of tracking and executing on the firm's consultant relations strategy and interacting in a professional and timely manner with institutional clients, consultants, and other financial professionals. This includes timely completion of information requests and assistance with problem resolution. Responsible for supporting the efforts of our senior sales and client service professionals via the creation of all materials for current and potential clients.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
Client/Consultant Service Team Support:
* Serve as point of contact for all designated client/consultant relationships in assisting the senior members of the team.
* Coordinate with the external reps for successful implementation of the team's sales strategy.
* Assist in management of client/consultant relationships by responding to all inquiries and handling all internal serving needs of clients/consultants.
* Create, prepare and quarterback preparation for client/consultant presentations, meeting materials, collateral, and ad hoc requests for information for external team.
Client/Consultant Account Services and Interface:
* Assist with resolution of administrative matters and maintain client/consultant records in Salesforce including activity, sales
pipeline, meetings, schedules, notes and contact details.
* Assist with client on-boarding and transition processes.
* Complete client/consultant reporting requests and questionnaires including but not limited to RFIs, DDQs and RFPs. This includes, but is not limited to, preparation of responses, liaison with other departments for necessary input, management of timeline for providing responses, coordination of compliance review, and timely delivery of final response.
* Complete all daily/monthly/quarterly standard reporting requirements of clients/consultants.
Institutional Team Support:
* Support Institutional team initiatives related to client retention, new business initiatives and service enhancement.
* Work in coordination with other departments to assist in the updating and creation of all materials for institutional clients/consultants.
* Participate in various projects as needed to support the team.
* Understand the firm, its various investment strategies and investment processes.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Minimum Education Required:
* Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or related fields.
Licenses/Certifications:
* Claritas Investment Certificate preferred
Minimum Specific Experience Required
* 0 - 3 years of experience.

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Publisher) required. Experience with Salesforce, Seismic Presentation Management, Qvidian, and FactSet Portfolio Analysis preferred.
* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several variables.
* Client service driven with impeccable communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to handle highly sensitive information with absolute confidentiality and professionalism.
