Starting as a commercial tree trimming company, we also provide services such as storm and emergency restoration, line clearance, herbicide application, and transmission right-of-way maintenance and mowing.$1,000 Signing Bonus - conditions will applyJob Responsibilities:Climb, prune, and remove trees according to directivesLoad and unload trucks with logs, brush, and debris; lifts and feeds brush into chipperMay work from the ground occasionally using hand saws, pole saws, pruners, hand pruners, loppers, and gas-powered chain sawsInspect and ensure proper working condition of all assigned tools and equipmentSafeguard employees and public from hazards in and around the work area by enforcing safe job practices, keeping work area clean and orderly, and staying in frequent voice communication with co-workersSpecific Requirements:Must be able to work outdoors under varying and sometimes adverse weather conditionsMust have and maintain a Driver's License if hired for a driving positionMust be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of all knots, ropes, and rigging devices used in tree trimming and removal operationsMust be able to climb and descend trees using rope and safety saddleMust be able to administer and implement emergency rescue techniques, including tree rescue and all applicable first aid techniquesMust be familiar with electrical hazards and appropriate operating procedure when in proximity to electrical conductors and aerial rescue techniques in the event of an emergency aloftMust be able to work and maneuver at considerable heights under varying and adverse weather conditionsMust possess physical strength and agility, good balance, good depth perception and the ability to hear verbal instructions from a distance.Must be able to travel out of town for storm restoration work when neededWe provide safety instruction from day one and every day throughout your employment, a comprehensive benefit plan, 401(K), paid holidays, vacation, referral bonuses, and opportunities to learn other skills for promotions.Kendall is an equal opportunity at will employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of age, race, religion, color, disability, sex, sexual orientation or national origin.#J-18808-Ljbffr
