Job Description:

ABABC currently serves 150+ adults and adolescents with various disabilities in NH. We are expanding our services beyond ABA and are seeking a Clinician (LICSW or LICMHC) to provide outpatient therapy to adults across NH. The clinician will work closely with other members of our internal Behavioral Health teams and must have a strong commitment and passion for collaboration.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality care to diverse populations. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions to individuals and groups.

*Responsibilities*

- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine mental health needs.

- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.

- Provide therapy using various modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Art Therapy, and Group Therapy.

- Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions

- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with ICD-10 standards.

- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for patients.

- Stay informed about best practices in mental health treatment and participate in ongoing professional development.

*Qualifications*

- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.

- Valid licensure as a mental health professional (LCSW, LCMHC, etc.) is preferred

- Experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Group Therapy is highly desirable.

- Familiarity with working with those with Comorbid Diagnosis

- Proficient in medical documentation practices

- Strong skills in patient assessment and the ability to develop effective treatment strategies.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

- Commitment to ethical practice and continuous improvement in clinical skills.
