Clinic Administrator Position SummaryThe Leavenworth Clinic Administrator is responsible to oversee and facilitate all functions within the Leavenworth Clinic, to include management of clinical service access and delivery, administrative functions, facility management, fiscal program and productivity management, and community relations. The Leavenworth Clinic Administrator serves as a member and active participant of TGC's Leadership Team. The Leavenworth Clinic Administrator requires a high level of clinical competency along with operational leadership skills, and ability to represent The Guidance Center effectively within the community and with referral sources. Clinic Administrator Primary Responsibilities:
Ensure the effective, efficient delivery of clinical services at Leavenworth Clinic to include facilitating service access within contractual and regulatory timeframes.Provide direct clinical services as needed to facilitate access standards and/or crisis response.Coordinate with Leavenworth Office Manager and related team members to develop and implement processes, procedures, help guides and training to ensure seamless operations with clients and employees.Supervise all outpatient therapists and the School Based Clinical Supervisor individually on a weekly basis, in groups, and on an as needed basis with focus on clinical case staffing and support, crisis intervention, diagnostic formulation and treatment approaches, meeting direct service requirements, completion of initial and ongoing trainings, completion of administrative functions, and staff development/support.Conduct weekly and as needed supervision of Leavenworth Office Manager with focus on successful and timely completion of operational, administrative, client care, and billing functions.Conduct ongoing assessment of the Leavenworth Clinic's service, operational, facility, financial, and staffing needs and develop plans to meet needs in collaboration with relevant staff.Be a subject matter expert related to fiscal processes, billing-related matters, budget management, client account management.Interview applicants/hire new staff. Facilitate onboarding and initial training which clearly meets the needs of new staff. Facilitates remediation training as indicated.Clinic Administrator Qualifications/ExperienceEDUCATION AND LICENSURE:EDUCATION AND LICENSURE:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy or Professional Counseling or Doctorate degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology (PhD or PsyD) and licensure by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board as a LP, LMSW, LMLP, LMFT,LPC, LSCSW, LCP, LCPC OR LCMFT by the first day of employment.
EXPERIENCE:
- Required: Three years experience in a supervisory or management position in a mental health setting and a minimum of three years' clinical experience in a mental health setting.
- Preferred: experience in the Kansas Community Mental Health System.
