The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the billing process, ensuring accurate claims submissions, and maintaining compliance with insurance regulations. The billing specialist will play a critical role in the financial operations of the clinic, working closely with healthcare providers, administrative staff, and insurance companies to ensure prompt and accurate reimbursement.Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or higher in healthcare administration, finance, or a related field is preferred.- Previous experience in medical billing, insurance verification, or a similar role is highly desirable.- Knowledge of medical terminology, billing codes (CPT, ICD-10), and insurance claims processing.- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Proficiency in billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems. Experience with Allscripts or Athena preferred.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
