It is required that a dentist is present in the dental hygiene clinic while the students are providing dental hygiene services. Examples of DutiesESSENTIAL DUTIES/STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
  • The Dental Hygiene Clinic Dentist is responsible for supervision of dental hygiene students during clinic sessions.
  • Supervision of the activities of the dental hygiene students during clinic sessions at Iowa Central Dental Hygiene Clinic.
  • Provide comprehensive examinations to the clients of the Iowa Central Community College Dental Hygiene Clinic
  • Provide prescriptions, referrals and consultative services as needed to the clients of the Iowa Central Dental Hygiene Clinic.
  • Contribute to the achievement of the Dental Hygiene department goals.
  • Provide additional leadership to the program.
  • Attend meetings as required by the Program and/or College.

  • QualificationsMust have three years of recent dental experience. Current dentist with Iowa license.
