Clinic Director Role Summary: The clinic director for residential treatment services will be in an interim position to support the senior director for residential services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing treatment plans and participating in treatment plan meetings
- Conducting suicide assessments and reviewing psychosocial evaluations
- Attending staff meetings and managing clinical referrals
- Assisting in creating the scope of practice for new regional program managers
- Helping to develop plans for the regional program managers to ensure they can effectively take on their roles
- This role is designed to support the senior director's workload and ensure smooth operations within the residential treatment services.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education: Master's degree in Social Work or related field, or Ph.D. in psychology License/Certification: Independently licensed to practice in Maine and provide supervision to all staff within area of responsibility, including conditionally licensed staff Experience: 5+ years of progressive mental health management and broad clinical experience is required Evidence of operational management experience, including staff management, workflow and process development, budget management Ability to work both independently and to collaborate with teams of individuals in diverse settings Knowledge of computer software, including Microsoft Office Ability to communicate effectively and work collaborative with all members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team Sensitivity to cultural variables and respect for diversity Additional Information With a career at any of the MaineHealth locations across Maine and New Hampshire, you'll be working with health care professionals that truly value the people around them - both within the walls of the organization and the communities that surround it.
