We are building a new model of primary care for women 65+ to solve long-standing problems: rushed appointments, long wait times, and care that's generalized rather than specialized towards women's needs later in life such as post-menopausal care, bone density, weight management, and mental, social and emotional well-being. Our patient-centric Primary Care clinics are dispersed across Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN. We are thrilled to serve the Twin Cities metro in our clinics located in Highland Park (St. Paul), Crystal, South Minneapolis and Rosedale, with our newest clinic in Eagan launching December 2024. About the Clinic Manager Role: The Clinic Manager will play a vital role in implementing our clinical operating model and best practices within our clinical market of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, MN. This colleague will partner closer with other key Operations leaders on our team, as well as with clinical staff such as Medical Assistants, Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, etc. We're seeking a passionate leader to help drive day-to-day operations and onboard / train clinical teams within market. Must-have Qualifications and Skills:
  • Active, unrestricted clinical license in the state of Minnesota (RN, LPN, or MA certification)
  • If MA, must have 10+ years of practice experience and 3+ years of leadership experience
  • ~5+ years of experience in a clinical, patient-facing setting
  • Prior experience (2+ years) in overseeing day-to-day onsite operations, preferably within a clinical setting
  • Experience with complex clinical shift scheduling and ownership of the staff time off request process, including assisting with finding shift coverage in the event of a call-out
  • Experience building, implementing and training team members new clinical/admin process flows
  • Experience with the Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • The ability to learn and adopt new technologies quickly and efficiently, through both formal training and self-led learning
  • Experience in communication and coordination with executive level professionals via multiple channels including email, phone, video calling platforms, instant messaging platforms and project management tools
  • The drive to learn and grow within an ambiguous, fast-paced startup environment
  • Regular local market travel to clinics within Minneapolis and Saint Paul is required
  • Experience with providing leadership, coaching and development plans for all direct reports
  • Experience coordinating all aspects of patient care from admission through discharge of the patient
  • Experience with the selection and hiring of new team members and ensuring completion of new hiring orientation and mandatory training
  • Experience collaborating with other key operations leaders to manage the day-to-day operations of the clinic, including costs, processes, staffing, and quality standards
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills including the ability to listen effectively and to communicate information clearly and effectively to patients, patient family members, and employees
  • Accountable for compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations
  • Ability to remain calm and act appropriately in emergency situations
  • Demonstrated time management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities according to clinical standards; high degree of initiative
Nice-to-have Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience in / general knowledge of the healthcare space
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience in learning and development within a clinical (preferred) or non-clinical setting
  • Self-directed; able to function independently and as a member of a team while fostering a positive work environment
