Job Description
Under the direction of the Clinic Administrator, the Clinic Manager is responsible for the daily coordination, development and administration of clinic operations. Work involves planning and supervising a variety of management and service activities. Provides technical support and service to department heads and supervisors in order to best achieve efficient clinic operations. Responsible for the maintenance, measurement and reporting of efficient clinic operations. Ensures operational compliance with required funding guidelines. Plans, directs and coordinates all activities of the clinic to ensure La Fe's mission, goal and objectives are accomplished in accordance with bilingual, bicultural responsiveness, prescribed operational priorities, and funding revenue conditions. Frequently exercises initiative and independent judgment. Is a member of the management team.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Plans, directs and coordinates all activities of the clinic.
* Keeps Executive Management informed of the status and progress of clinic operations.
* Responsible for ensuring effective and cost efficient operations management of the clinic.
* Attends and participates in regular Board, committee as well as other meetings, conferences, workshops, governmental organizations, etc.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

* Ability to deal with the public in a professional, courteous and tactful manner.
* Knowledge of personnel, administrative and financial procedures and practices, as well as principle, techniques, terminology and procedures of sound management.
* Ability to exercise judgement in unusual or stressful situations.
* Knowledge of community target area (problems, needs, resources, etc.)
* Ability to establish good public relations and make effective public appearances.
* Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in a professional manner.
* Ability to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
* Knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span.
* Ability to identify and categorize each patient's age-specific grouping of needs, such as those for infant, adolescent or geriatric patients.
* Bilingual English/Spanish.
Required Education
* Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Health Related Field Preferred, Experience may substitute for Education.
* Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory experience.
* CPR card
Required Experience
* A minimum of five years experience in health care administration or business management or equitable work experience.
