Role - Speciality Clinic Manager Location - Aitkin, MN Full Time | Permanent Shift - Day (M-F 40hrs/week) Position Summary
  • The Specialty Clinic Manager is responsible for day-to-day operations and services within our specialty clinic. This role is accountable for the quality of care, service, and management of staff within assigned areas. This role will work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams to ensure strategic goals and exceptional patient care is achieved.
Education and Experience
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an Associate Degree or higher. Current Minnesota RN license. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience. 1 to 2 years of management or supervisory experience preferred. Experience with Epic strongly preferred.
License/Certificates
  • Current Minnesota RN license.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for employee performance including hiring, setting performance expectations, and management of staff.
  • Foster a culture of excellence and collaboration through effective leadership, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Coordinates with primary care and other stakeholders to ensure seamless referral processes are in place.
  • Coordinate daily operations and activities to ensure proficiency and quality service is delivered across all specialties.
  • Develop and ensure compliance with clinic policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for operational and financial performance of assigned areas.
  • Provide skill competency training, process improvement activities, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and practice standards.
  • Works in collaboration with medical staff and Director of Ambulatory Services to ensure clinic is operating at peak efficiency.
  • Assure timely completion and submission of employee and/or patient incident, infection, near miss, and exposure reports.
  • Monitors and develops improvement plans to increase patient satisfaction.
  • Safeguard security and confidentiality of data/information according to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Demonstrates adaptability and readiness to change.
