In this crucial role, you will be responsible for providing Exceptional Care to the individuals that call Verland their Home. Shifts available: Full Time- 40 hours 8am - 4:30pm - Monday - Friday The Clinic Nurse is responsible for setting up on site clinics and managing outside specialists for individuals with intellectual, medical, and physical disabilities. Under the supervisor of the Senior Director of Clinical Operations, the Clinic Nurse will play a key role in communicating with patients' families regarding appointments and test results, writing medical orders, and conducting audits to maintain high standards of care. The Clinic Nurse will participate in the on-call schedule. This a salaried exempt position. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with patients, families, and teams effectively.
- Ability to write clear, concise, and accurate medical orders.
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Minimum Training and Experience:
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a valid PA license.
- Must have all required clearances.
- Experience in care coordination, including scheduling, lab follow-up, and audit management.
- Knowledge of preventative care guidelines and healthcare regulations
