Job Type Full-timeDescription We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinic Registered Nurse to join our team: General Support within Clinic (1.0 FTE) As a Clinic Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a clinical setting. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care. The Clinic RN rooms patients, acts as telephone triage nurse, refills medications per SCRMC protocol, coordinates chronic disease care, triages walk-in patients and assists providers with exams as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Plans for delivery of optimum patient care, patient care coordination, assesses and delivers patient care based on department and facility standards.
- Perform various nursing procedures within the scope of licensure, including but not limited to IV starts, urinary catheterization, patient education
- Room patients
- Assist providers with procedures, chronic disease care management and care coordination
- Administer immunizations and complete appropriate documentation in EMR
- Assist LPN and CMA staff with advanced procedures as needed
- Ensure patient phone calls to the provider are accurately documented in the EMR, including supporting documentation detailing resolution
- Reviews and completes medication refills for primary clinic provider's in a timely matter
Manage triage duties and responsibilities.
- Answer triage line; assist concerned patients via phone
- Follow triage protocols to determine appropriate next steps
- Act as walk-in patient triage nurse; perform RN duties and responsibilities as needed based on situation
Complies with department and facility standards.
- Understand Clinic Policies and Procedures
- Perform work according to organization policies and procedures

- Current RN license - WI & MN
Experience:
- Prior clinic, medical/surgical, urgent care center or emergency room experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Flexible and willing to fill different roles as needed
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with little direction and manage multiple demands and priorities
- Positively contributes to a team environment, assisting the organization in achieving goals and objectives
- Strong customer service skills
