Travel Clinic RN- North DakotaAmerican Consultants is looking for multiple travel Clinic RN's. These are Monday-Friday positions.Position Overview:A Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality nursing care in a clinical or outpatient setting. The RN collaborates with a healthcare team, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and other staff, to deliver comprehensive care to patients. This role includes patient assessment, treatment, education, and coordination of care.Key Responsibilities:- Patient Care:- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and current health concerns.- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.- Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with procedures, examinations, and follow-up care.- Coordination and Communication:- Coordinate patient care plans, ensuring seamless communication between patients and healthcare providers.- Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and healthy lifestyle practices.- Manage patient flow and scheduling to ensure timely and efficient care delivery.- Documentation and Compliance:- Accurately document patient care, treatment plans, and progress in electronic health records (EHR).- Ensure compliance with clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.- Monitor and report any changes in patients' conditions to the healthcare team promptly.- Clinical Support and Maintenance:- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinic environment.- Perform routine quality checks on medical equipment and supplies.- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.Qualifications:- Education: Completion of an accredited nursing program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing).- Licensure: Current, active RN license in the state of practice.- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) may be required.- Experience: Prior experience in a clinic or outpatient setting is preferred but not required.Skills and Attributes:- Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.- Empathy and commitment to delivering patient-centered care.- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
