Who We're Looking For:
EmpiRx Health is experiencing unprecedented growth, and we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Account Executive. In this critical role, you will identify new opportunities for betterment and use your ability to reason and translate clinical information in a manner appropriate for clinical and non-clinical audiences in a way that is second to none.

What You'll Do:
As a Clinical Account Executive, your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities:
Develop new clinical strategies to improve the health of our members by analyzing and interpreting prescription claims data
Provide oversight of clinical programs developed by third parties
Meet with clients to discuss clinical trends, review relevant pharmacy data, and provide recommendations/supportive rationale for clinical management strategies
Support growth of pharmacy product, as well as assist in developing a robust clinical management playbook and training platform for sales initiatives and client management
Translate and decipher how current pharmacy/healthcare trends will affect our clinical strategies
Provide drug information and act as the clinical consultant/expert on the account team
Proactively make recommendations for clients to stay ahead of the curve regarding drug pipeline activity (new generics, new brands, new clinical rules and specialty)
Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to build consensus among all departments while supporting overall sales initiative
Support RFI and RFP submissions
Perform other responsibilities and projects on as needed basis
What You Need:
PharmD (required)
At least three (3) years of experience in analyzing raw prescription claims data in Excel
Deep knowledge of highly managed specialty medications/strategy, formulary development and maintenance process, including rigorous evaluation of pharmaceutical products and ranking products based on value
A solid understanding of what concierge service means as it pertains to client management
Excellent written and oral skills, both in developing materials and presenting to senior clients
Desire to work in a fast-paced, exciting start-up environment with the ability to multi-task and work outside the non-clinical environment
Exceptional clinical, business and relationship building skills and must possess the ability to apply sound clinical judgment to a variety of situations
Knowledge and ability to participate in the pharmacy benefits sales process
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to travel occasionally
Extensive knowledge of inner workings of PBM or Health Plan pharmacy program
Knowledge of PBM and pharmacy services contracts and contracting process
Retail Pharmacist background
Extensive knowledge of inner workings of PBM or Health Plan pharmacy program preferred
