Job Overview:
  • Department: Health & Wellness
  • Schedule: 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday Hybrid: 3 days office, 2 days remote
  • Type: Regular, Full Time
  • Salary: $70,000 Annual salary + Benefits Package
  • **Flexibility to work one afternoon shift (1 pm-8 pm per week)
Organizational Overview:Henry Street Settlement's Health and Wellness Cluster is a $10M division that provides a wide array of personalized behavioral health services to individuals coping with the challenges brought on by emotional problems and mental illness. A New York State-certified Article 31 mental health facility, this division delivers outpatient mental health services, crisis services, vocational rehabilitation, parent education, supportive employment, case management, screenings for entitlement benefits, health care navigator program, and Senior Services. Services are provided by culturally competent staff who can communicate in Chinese and Spanish as well as English. These programs are designed to help individuals attain their fullest potential in an environment that values respect, dignity, caring, and integrityJob Summary:As a Clinician in our clinic, you will provide clinical services to individuals, groups, and families. You will be asked to work in an interdisciplinary team to assist individuals and families to achieve their personal highest potential and live full-filling lives. Intake work and documentation compliance are required tasks. We are a community mental health clinic with the mission to be accessible to the Lower East Side communityQualifications:
  • LMSW or LCSW required
  • At least 1-2 years of clinical experience with adults preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • Familiarity with Electronic Health Records a plus
  • Experience in Substance use treatment a plus
  • Experience utilizing Evidence-Based treatment modalities in Behavioral Health
  • Able to meet productivity expectations as established with the Clinical director.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual, group and family services
  • Provide clinical case management as needed
  • Maintain all paperwork according to State regulations
  • Collaborative documentation with clients in session (i.e. patient participation in treatment plan)
  • Participate in Mandatory staff meetings
  • Work at least one afternoon shift (1 pm-8 pm per week)
  • Other related duties as assigned by the supervisor
Essential Physical Job Functions:
  • Ability to walk on sidewalks, up and down stairs, and throughout the clinic consistently throughout each day
  • Ability to carry folders, a tablet, a notebook, and a cell phone (up to 20 pounds) for several hours per day
