Position Overview:

The Clinical Application Specialist will play a vital role in driving the adoption and effective use of our angio-based FFR solutions across the United States. This role involves providing expert on-site and remote training, clinical support, and technical guidance to healthcare professionals. The specialist will collaborate closely with sales and account management teams to ensure successful product implementation and will be a key representative at industry events and workshops. May pose an opportunity to learn and provide support for our 3mensio products, if the opportunity presents itself. Extensive travel is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Training & Clinical Support:

• Schedule and coordinate comprehensive training sessions for healthcare providers on the use of angio-based FFR solutions.

• Deliver on-site and remote application support to ensure users are proficient in utilizing the technology effectively in clinical settings.

• Provide case support during procedures, offering real-time guidance and troubleshooting.

Implementation & Customer Engagement:

• Work with Account Managers to facilitate the successful implementation and integration of angio-based FFR solutions within healthcare facilities.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at client sites, including physicians, nurses, and radiologic technologists.

• Serve as a clinical and technical resource to address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.

Product Expertise & Advocacy:

• Stay current with the latest developments in our angio-based FFR solution and competing solutions.

• Act as a subject matter expert, providing insights and feedback to internal teams on product performance, user experience, and potential enhancements.

• Represent the company at conferences, workshops, and trade shows, demonstrating the capabilities and benefits of our angio-based FFR solution.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Prepare detailed reports following training sessions, case support, and customer interactions.

• Document feedback from healthcare professionals and relay pertinent information to Product Management and R&D teams.

• Provide updates to the Sales Team on customer engagement, training outcomes, and potential sales opportunities.

Qualifications:

Education & Training:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biomedical Engineering, Radiologic Technology, Nursing) is preferred.

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist, Registered Nurse, or similar clinical credentials are advantageous.

• Advanced training or certification in cardiovascular imaging or FFR technology is a plus.

Technical + Clinical Skills:

• Strong understanding of cardiovascular physiology and angio-based FFR technology.

• Proficiency in using and teaching advanced medical imaging and FFR software applications.

• Ability to translate complex technical information into practical training and support for clinical users.

• Proficiency in using and teaching computer software applications, particularly within a healthcare context.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology, relevant to product applications.

Interpersonal Skills:

• Very strong communication skills

• Excellent customer service skills

• Ability to engage in clinical discussions with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and radiologic technologists.

• Excellent interpersonal communication, capable of conveying complex information clearly

• Strong presentation and teaching skills, capable of delivering clear and concise training

• Strong customer service orientation, with a commitment to delivering high-quality support

Problem-Solving & Adaptability:

• Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capability to address technical issues and provide effective solutions in a clinical setting.

• Flexible and adaptable, able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical role involving cardiovascular imaging, catheterization, or FFR technology.

• Prior experience in clinical applications or a support role within the healthcare technology industry is desirable.

• Experience providing training and support for complex medical imaging solutions is preferred.
