These positionsoffer a competitive salary and benefits, up to three-year contracts, andsupport for professional development, such as participation in regional andnational meetings of relevant professional societies such as ASEE, BMES, andIEEE EMBS. Candidates should have adoctoral degree in Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, Bioinformatics, inEngineering Education, or a closely related field and a strongcommitment to education,advising, and mentoring. We are seeking dynamic individuals who, in addition tostrong classroom teaching for a range of core biomedical engineering topics,are also interested in engineering design, regulatory processes, andengineering product development. Opportunities may include teaching orinvolvement in programs that include thedesign curriculum (i.e. senior design), clinical immersion experiences, collaboration with the expansive Makerspace facility, specialized medical studentcurricula (Innovation in Medicine), and online graduate program development,).Promotion is based not onlyon strong performance in the activities described above, but also on documentedscholarly recognition, such as authored publications in peer-reviewedliterature, grant funding, and/or leadership in relevant professionalsocieties.
