RMA of Northern California is seeking a Clinical Assistant to join our growing San Francisco office. This is a Full-Time position, Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3pm with occasional weekends and holidays.Job Purpose: The Clinical Assistant will promote and restore patients' health by assisting in the nursing process and supporting physicians and other multidisciplinary team members with hands-on patient care. You will help to create a positive experience for our patients and ensure that patients receive high-quality service by assisting clinical team with patient care.Essential Functions and Accountabilities:Assist Physicians with clinical proceduresFollow proper protocols for all proceduresPractice phlebotomyAccurately document ultrasound measurements, provider comments and use appropriate stim templates while chaperoning ultrasounds.Clean exam rooms and equipment per protocol.Set up and stock examination and procedure rooms.Maintain clinical supplies inventory.Specimen collection, processing for in-house and outside laboratories.Manage Lanfax for outside labs, reports, results. Enter results and email to provider team for review.Provide patients with information regarding upcoming procedures and reassurance/comfort before, during and after procedures.Other duties as assigned.Academic Training:Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program - preferredStudies level: CertificationStudies area: Nursing/healthcare assistantBLS RequiredPhlebotomy Program - requiredStudies level: Certification, CPT-1 requiredStudies area: Phlebotomy ProgramPosition Requirements/Experience:6+ months experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practicePrior experience in women's healthcare - preferredMust be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional eveningsTechnical Skills:Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel - requiredEMR experience - preferredAbout IVIRMA Global:IVIRMA is the largest group in the world devoted exclusively to human Assisted Reproduction Technology.
