Clinical Associates - Hospital Medicine The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Hospital Medicine, seeks full-time Clinical Associates for renewable terms of up to two years. The appointees will provide direct patient care, including managing patients with complex sub-specialty needs, which will involve night and weekend coverage. These positions do not require teaching or scholarly activity. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent on qualifications.Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be Board certified or eligible in Internal or Hospital Medicine.
