The University of Chicago's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology seeks full-time Clinical Associates for renewable two-year terms. Appointees will be responsible for providing coverage in the Labor and Delivery Unit at Ingalls Memorial Hospital (IMH), and for supporting the gynecology inpatient service. These positions require full-time commitment as laborists in the Labor and Delivery Unit. Appointees will be expected to assist with establishing and maintaining the most up-to-date, evidence-based, medical protocols and will be members of the Obstetrics and Gynecology call groups. These positions do not require teaching or scholarly activity.Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent on qualifications. Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be Board certified or Board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
