Clinical CoordinatorDepartment of NursingFull time; 10-month assignmentPosition Responsibilities* Collaborate with department administrative assistant to oversee management of CastleBranch student information and data management for all programs in the department* Maintain regularcommunication with local health agencies which serve as clinical education sites* Serve as the contact person for clinical agencies in the recruitment of externs and graduate nurses* Serve as liaison between faculty and clinical agencies* Assist program directors in the recruitment of preceptors and clinical instructors* Develop a preceptor training program in conjunction with department faculty* Ensure the consistency of clinical direct patient care and simulation clinical experiences between clinical sections* Assist Simulation Laboratory Coordinator with identifying maintenance and supply needs for simulation, skills, and assessment labs; and inventory management, set up, and post-simulation activities* Work with department staff to manage Clinical Agreements with agencies* Coordinate with nursing faculty to develop clinical schedules for each semester* Address student issues which arise throughout the clinical experiences* Work with the Student Affairs Committee on admissions and student contracts* Serve as a member of the Graduation and Pinning Ceremony Committee* Maintain the Canvas page on the Nurses Station to keep students informed of pre- and postgraduation opportunities* Report to chairperson to identify competing priorities and resource needs* Maintain a current Missouri RN license* Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing* Possess current Missouri RN license or eligible for Missouri licensure* More than one year of clinical experience as an RN with leadership and/or experience a plus* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Excellent organizational skills* Demonstrated experience and understanding of customer serviceApplication Deadline: To ensure full consideration, application materials must be received by November 1, 2024.
