The Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the unit, managing patient care, and providing support to the nursing staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Med/Surg nursing and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and direction to the nursing staff in the Med/Surg department- Ensure high-quality patient care is being provided by monitoring and evaluating patient outcomes- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans- Manage staffing and scheduling for the unit, ensuring adequate coverage at all times- Conduct regular staff meetings and provide ongoing education and training to the nursing staff- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulationsQualifications:- Active RN license in the state of practice- 5 years of Medical Surgical (Med/ Surg) nursing experience required, with a minimumof 2 years charge nurse/supervisory experience preferred Special qualifications; Evidence of leadership abilities required excellent communication and computer skills; Required ability to function in stressful situations Verbal ability to present information and computer skills.- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Med/Surg nursing- Previous leadership or management experience preferred- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current nursing practices- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment- BLS and ACLS certification required- BSN preferred, but not requiredBenefits:- Competitive salary- Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance- Retirement savings plan- Paid time off and holidays- Professional development opportunities- Relocation assistance may be availableJoin our team and make a difference in the lives of our patients.
