A Great Place to Live Just 35 miles from New York City, Rockland County offers friendly communities, natural beauty, outdoor pursuits, convenient shopping and easy access to New York City. While Rockland County has plenty to offer, both the mountains and the beach are within a few hours' drive. The Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)plans therapeutic diets in accordance with physicians' diagnoses and requirements of regulatory agencies. The RDN functions as a member of the multidisciplinary health care team to implement nutrition care plans, meets and counsels' patients on their nutritional needs and care, charts all nutrition-related information in patient charts within an accurate and timely manner, and completes all patient assessments within required time frames.QUALIFICATIONSMinimum of one year in an acute care setting preferred. Will accept RD-eligible candidates with strong clinical skills (must obtain RD certification within 3 months of hire). Registered Dietitian in accordance with the CDR. Licensed in New York State, Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist, preferred.
