Summary

For a limited time, Stephens Hospital is offering up to $10,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible Dietitians!

  • Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part timeDietitianposition. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
  • Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Summary: The Clinical Dietitian role directs and coordinates nutritional care to patients in assigned clinical areas. Responsible for performing nutritional assessments, developing, and implementing care plans, educating patients, and communicating with physicians and health team members.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics/Nutritional Sciences from an accredited college or university required. 2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Dietitian required. Registration by the American Dietetic Association required. Positions in Home Care will require a valid Driver's License to operate a motor vehicle, with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy. 3. Experience: Two years of experience as a Registered Dietitian (RD) conducting nutritional assessments and developing treatment plans for acute care inpatients and/or outpatients preferred. 4.
