Job Title: Clinical Director, OB and NICULocation: Marquette, MIPosition OverviewKaeppel Consulting is seeking a Clinical Director, OB, and NICU will oversee the daily operations and management of the Obstetrics (OB) and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) departments. This role is responsible for providing strategic leadership, ensuring high-quality patient care, and fostering a supportive work environment for the clinical team. The Clinical Director will work closely with hospital administration and staff to align department goals with the organization's overall mission and values.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Management: Oversee the operations of OB and NICU departments, including staffing, budgeting, and performance management.Patient Care: Ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety, coordinating with the clinical team to maintain quality outcomes.Staff Development: Mentor, coach, and support clinical staff, promoting a culture of learning and professional development.Compliance: Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including Joint Commission and state/federal guidelines.Quality Improvement: Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and department performance.Collaboration: Work closely with other hospital departments, physicians, and healthcare providers to coordinate and optimize patient care across units.QualificationsEducation:Master's Degree required.Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.Experience:Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).At least 5 years of experience as an RN in OB or NICU.5 years of management experience in a healthcare setting.Nice-to-Have:Experience managing a unionized workforce.Skills and CompetenciesStrong leadership and communication skills.Ability to manage complex clinical operations.Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.Proficiency in quality improvement processes and patient safety initiatives.Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
