Teamwork Clinical Director

The Clinical Director at Teamwork Healthcare will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations and ensuring the highest standards of care in our ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) practice. This role requires a licensed and board-certified behavior analyst with strong leadership skills and a deep commitment to improving the lives of individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. The Clinical Director will lead a team of clinicians, ensuring the delivery of evidence-based treatment, and will work closely with families, staff, partners and the management team to foster a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Oversight:

  • Lead and manage the clinical team, including BCBA/BCaBA professionals, RBTs, and other support staff.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based ABA services to clients.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct regular clinical reviews and provide feedback to staff on treatment efficacy and client progress.
  • Stay current with advancements in ABA methodologies and integrate best practices into the clinics services.

Training and Supervision:

  • Provide direct supervision and mentorship to BCBAs, BCaBAs, and RBTs, ensuring compliance with BACB supervision requirements.
  • Develop and conduct ongoing training programs for clinical staff to maintain and enhance their skills.
  • Oversee the onboarding and training of new clinical hires.
  • Establish and maintain clinical quality assurance processes to monitor service delivery and client outcomes.
  • Conduct regular audits of treatment plans, session notes, and data collection to ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Address and resolve clinical issues and concerns, ensuring a high standard of care.
  • Oversee licensure track for Behavior Analysts with Limited Permits
  • Manage and monitor supervisor-supervisee relationships in accordance with teamworks values and the needs of all stakeholders (Behavior Analysts, Behavior Technicians, clients and caregivers)

Quality Assurance:

Client and Family Engagement:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and their families, providing guidance and support throughout their treatment journey.
  • Facilitate family training sessions and workshops to enhance family involvement in the treatment process.
  • Participate in case conferences and coordinate care with other service providers as needed.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards governing ABA services.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all clinical activities, including treatment plans, session notes, and supervision records.
  • Ensure the clinics operations adhere to the guidelines set forth by the BACB and other relevant regulatory bodies.

Operational Leadership:

  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement clinic policies, procedures, and strategic initiatives.
  • Assist with the budgeting and financial planning related to clinical services.
  • Participate in marketing and outreach activities to promote the clinics services and expand client base.
  • Lead the growth of the company through hiring and team member onboarding

Expectations:

  • In person/work-from-home hybrid option
  • Semi-flexible schedule (as needed based on the needs of the role)
  • Availability to provide in person supervision for any client on caseload, in all of our service geographies (currently Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx with plans to expand to North New Jersey)
  • Collaboratively work alongside all other Teamwork team members and contractors, including those in other departments

Skills of a good candidate include:

  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of ABA principles and methodologies.
  • Proficient in data analysis and the use of ABA software platforms for treatment planning and data collection.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in applied behavior analysis or related field
  • Valid BCBA or BCBA-D certification
  • BCBA supervision certification
  • NYS LBA
  • Minimum of 7 years experience with ABA (5+ years in a supervisory roles)
  • NYS teacher certification a bonus

Compensation:

  • $130,000 salary for full time employment (average 40 hours/week)
