Overview:

SalaryRange $90,000-100,000 a year (Depending on experience)

Looking to make a difference and be part of an amazing and growing team in an amazingly beautiful setting? Joinus at Embark's short term adolescent residential treatment center in Springville, Utah, located in the beautiful Wasatch Mountain Range only a half hour from the Salt Lake Valley.

Students live in a family style residence where community and interpersonal relationships are encouraged. Our staff offer guidance and support to adolescents and their families that include multi-modal family system approaches to amplify and solidify change.

Responsibilities:
  • Individual Sessions: Conduct individual therapeutic sessions with students to address and explore their unique needs, challenges, and emotional well-being.
  • Family Sessions: Facilitate family therapy sessions involving students and their parents to foster open communication, resolve family dynamics, and promote healing.
  • Group Therapy Leadership: Lead specialized group therapy sessions, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment among students, encouraging personal growth and interpersonal skills.
  • Interdisciplinary Treatment Planning: Participate in and lead weekly interdisciplinary treatment planning meetings, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive and individualized treatment plans for students.
  • Clinical Meetings and Supervision: Engage in regular clinical meetings and supervision sessions with 3-5 clinicians you supervise, contributing to ongoing professional development, sharing insights, and receiving guidance.
  • Documentation and Charting: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of therapeutic sessions and student progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum master's Degree in Behavioral Sciences - Social Work (MSW,) Clinical Social Work (CSW,) Clinical Mental Counseling (CMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or a related discipline.
  • Fully licensed in state of Utah
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent
  • Required - Two years of experience with supervisory experience and/or building and leading a team of licensed and associate therapists
  • Required -Two years of working experience as a licensed therapist leading individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
  • Preferred - One year of experience with medium to high acuity population, inpatient, residential, and or IOP/PHP setting using relational, experiential, and systemic modalities.
  • A desire to facilitate client growth through a team approach, working with other care providers.
  • A desire to perform and develop counseling/therapeutic expertise in individual, family, and group therapy.
  • Ability to plan, implement, and adjust a course of treatment as required.
  • Ability to pass a state background check

  • Base salary plus MIP Bonus potential
  • Industry leading staff to client ratios 1:2 client ratio - CD does not typically carry a case load but if so, we have set at 2 maximum for normal capacity.
  • Paid training program (Mastery) for years one through three of tenure. Salary is increased based on completion of the three modules during this time. Convert to Merit increases after that time frame.
  • CEU allowance starting in year two - $1500
  • Paid license fees for new license or renewals.
  • Covered under Embark professional liability insurance for practice at Embark including tail coverage- no external coverage required
