Job Description:
Schedule: Monday - Friday 5am-1pm ; Closed on all holidays. The Clinical Director is a licensed professional with experience in the provision of clinical oversight for the services related to the (MAT) Medicated Assisted Treatment Program. The Clinical Director provides consultation and, directly and/or indirectly, clinical supervision of non-medical clinical staff. This position is shared by one individual. Job Description (General Responsibilities) Responsible for the on-going and day-to-day clinical aspects of the program and of the treatment for those patients admitted to the program. Must meet weekly billing requirements as set forth for insurance patients. Insert dosing notes in Ecase for insurance patients Complete reauthorizations every 6 months Check Monthly eligibility for insurance patients Complete intake packets, assessments, safety plans, ongoing treatment plans and discharges for all patients. Ensures all clinic employees are properly licensed and /or certified for their specific job titles and duties. Ensures every aspect of the clinic is in full compliance with all Federal, State and local laws and regulations and Joint Commission guidelines. Properly maintain a catalog of each employee's employment records which will include: Current resume, copies of all degrees and licenses, copies of proper identification, Ten-year job history, copies of twice-yearly drug screens, etc. Ensure all employees follow all regulations and rules set forth by the clinic. Ensures that the clinic is always run in a safe and effective manner. Responsible for ensuring that each patient is being properly cared for according to Federal and State standards. Responsible for keeping employees updated on any changes to current laws and regulations the clinic currently follows. Report to the Program Manager on a regular basis any progress of the clinic or changes that are made in the running of the clinic. Responsible for writing up any employee that violates any rules and regulations set forth by the clinic. Ensures the Program is maintained in a safe, clean, and orderly manner. Performs evaluations of staff as scheduled. New employee orientation Random chart review follow-up Represent the Program at Methadone Coalition functions Respond to all regulatory inquiries in a timely fashion Maintain all employee schedules Must be well versed in all job descriptions and able to direct or perform all duties within clinic in the event of employee absences Evaluate and solve all employee problems, questions, or concerns regarding job performance as it pertains to patient treatment. Health and Safety Officer or assigns appropriately appointed person Receive all calls that Receptionist is unable to handle Telephone screening and scheduling of potential patients Responsible for the supervision of counselors in training to include all Treatment Plans; Supervision of Group Counseling; and Supervision of Individual Counseling. Weekly audits of patient records to ensure Treatment Plans, case notes, and Review no-show report to ensure pts are being discharged in a timely manner. Review call-back log to ensure call-backs are being done and recorded. Check grievance/ suggestion box and address any issues. Lead Treatment Team meetings each week. Address any and all issues as they arise and report them to Operational Manager Complete monthly operations report and email to Operational Manager Annual audit of all manuals with Operational Manager Make any updates and revisions as needed Make sure staff is aware of all updates and changes and that they are implemented Must have a working knowledge of the Policy and Procedure Manual as well as the company's Quality Assurance Plan. Facilitate clinic growth by making contacts and networking within the community.
