Location: Birmingham,AL, USA
The Clinical Director supervises the treatment program clinicians and other behavioral health care professionals, paraprofessionals, and/or interns, and manages all clinical aspects of program census of 40-60 in PHP/IOP levels of care and additional 40- 50 in outpatient level of care.
**Essential Duties & Functions:**
- Supervises a multi-disciplinary staff of five or more clinicians; Confers with staff regularly regarding techniques used, client progress, present clinical issues, and related matters in order to evaluate clinical staff and promote professional development.
-Ensures proper scheduling of all clinical program activities including group sessions and admission assessments.
-Conducts weekly group supervision meetings with clinicians and interns for supervision and consultation; reviews clinical documentation and progress notes; supervises staff in assessing social, emotional and economic causes of problem behavior and mental or emotional disorders.
- Ensures compliance with related federal, state and local regulations, as well as departmental policies and procedures.
**Education/ Experience:**
- Master's degree from an accredited school in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology or related human services field.
- Valid clinical licensure recognized by the state licensing board.
- The equivalent of three years of post-license experience as a behavioral health/mental health clinician providing clinical and/or case management services (Preferred).

**Pay Details:** $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
