ABOUT THE POSITION & ITS IMPACTThe Clinical Director at Milestones, working in collaboration with the Executive Director, VP of Medical Services, the Milestones Clinical team and other stakeholders manages all aspects of the clinical experience at Milestones. This role seeks to enhance and scale all aspects of client care, alumni continuing care, the family program, as well as expected clinical outcomes for our Milestones clients. Milestones, a bespoke, in-patient, adult trauma treatment community is a world-class clinical environment and we're looking for our next Clinical leader to continue to push us into the future.ABOUT THE DAY-TO-DAY IN THIS ROLE:
- Lead the clinical team including Clinical Supervisor, Primary Therapists, Adventure Therapists, Case Managers and more to effectively produce outstanding clinical outcomes for clients and ensure our services remain best-in-class
- Facilitate daily morning meetings, facilitate and manage resolution of client issues which may arise, facilitate and participate in Treatment Team meetings, and ensure action oriented clinical interventions/decisions are carried out effectively
- Review potential admissions with the VP of Medical Services and collaborate daily with the Admissions team as warranted on preparing clients prior to admission
- Maintain composure when managing crisis situations and implement de-escalation techniques, manage emergency situations and staff issues with a high degree of integrity and speed

However, given this role is clinical in nature we require strict adherence to these needs:
- Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related field
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification required. Must hold current Tennessee License or other state license working towards TN credentials within one (1) year of hire
- Must possess excellent clinical supervision skills and experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of senior level management experience required, 3 years must be in a mental health or behavioral health inpatient setting
- Ability to develop and implement a strategic plan based on defining structure and accountability to a team within a therapeutic environment required
